Steven will go over the rules of the games we will be playing and delve a little into the strategies, odds, and things to help make your time on the table fun and (hopefully) profitable... Time permitting, we will play a few rounds just to get a taste of the game.

Monthly Board of Directors Meeting to discuss upcoming events and conduct chapter business.

This month we will begin discussing preparations for our annual Honolulu Marathon Startline. The Ala Moana Jaycees takes great pride in our involvement with the Honolulu Marathon for over 20 years, and we will again undertake the organization of the Startline logistics. If you are interested in participating in one of the largest events in Hawaii, while getting real-world project experience, drop us a line or just stop by.

Discover Moiliili Festival

Stadium Park on the corner of S. King & Isenberg Streets

The annual Discover Moiliili Fetival at Stadium Park features food, entertainment, various arts & craft vendors, historic tours & exhibits and more! The event is organized as a benefit for the Moiliili Community Center's numerous programs for the keiki, elderly, and everyone in between.

The Jaycees will be assisting at the food booth and with set-up, break down, parking control, volunteer services and other tasks throughout the day.

Help us support the organization that serves as a tremendous resource for the Hawaii Jaycees and the community!

Texas Hold'em Tournament

Think you've got a good poker face? Think you've got game? Well bring it on down to our Texas Hold'em Tournament and join us for the Flop, Turn, and River of Dreams. If you're not sure about the game, then attend one of our meetings, or just come on down and we will be glad to teach you how to play.

We'll bring the lunch, beverages, cards, and prizes, so all you have to do is play. This will be a fun tournament with great prizes to play for. Come join us for an afternoon of good fun & World Poker Tour-like cardplay.

With property & identity theft crimes so common these days, securing our homes is becoming increasingly important. Raymond will discuss some of the threats we may not have thought about and will share a few things we can do to help keep our homes safe. By combining awareness, technology, and common sense, we can proactively protect ourselves and our families from predators looking for an easy score.

Honolulu Marathon Start Line Project

This is it! Our annual Honolulu Marathon Start Line project involves hundreds of volunteers on race day, and we kick it all off with...FiReWoRkS!  Be a part of one of the largest marathon events in the country!

All of our planning and preparation takes shape as over 20,000 runners, walkers, & wheelchair athletes hit the streets and get ready to do the 26.2 (mile-long marathon)!

Of course, coffee, refreshments, are provided along with the annual marathon volunteer t-shirt and baseball cap from Nike.
